1. People never have a correct attitude toward their own strengths and weaknesses, and it unwittingly affects their knowledge of God. Some even give up themselves and lose their hope. They no longer seek the transformation of their disposition, and are unwilling to suffer to practice the truth. They think they have never changed. Actually there are changes in them. But as they fail to discover that and only see their defects, they don’t want to cooperate with God any more. This will not only impede their normal process of entering in, but also give rise to their deeper misunderstandings about God, but also give rise to their deeper misunderstandings about God, and it will further impact their destinations. So it has to be listed as one item for you to look into carefully, so that you can enter more deeply and gain the transformation you ought to, you ought to gain.
2. Some are now passive, but they can still perform their duty with a mind of “being loyal to God to the end despite what the outcome will be.” In God’s view, this is transformation. Yet you can’t realize it. In fact if you examine yourself carefully, carefully, you will find that some of your corrupt dispositions have already been changed. But you always measure yourself by the highest standard. As a result, instead of meeting the highest, the highest standard, you even deny all the transformation you have gained. This is man’s mistake, man’s mistake.
3. If you are truly one capable of distinguishing between right and wrong, you should examine yourself for changes. Not only will you see your transformation, but you will further find the ways of practice you should follow in future. And then you will see that as long as you make efforts, you still have hope, you still have hope. You are not one irredeemable, you are not one irredeemable. God tells you this now: He who treats his problems correctly is hopeful; he can come out of passiveness, can come out of passiveness.
4. You forsake the truth because you consider yourself irredeemable. So you’ve forsaken even the most basic of truths, you’ve forsaken even the most basic of truths. You may not be incapable of practicing the truth, but it’s that you have given up the opportunity of doing so. How could you be changed if you have forsaken the truth? What’s the point of your faith in God if you forsake the truth? God once said, “No matter when, seeking the transformation of your disposition won’t go wrong.” Have you forgotten it? You only remember the words “few and far between” and then consider yourself hopeless. If you don’t pursue positively, how can negative things not come out? And how can you not become passive? So God still tells you this: Do justice to yourself, and do not forsake the truth. Do justice to yourself, and do not forsake the truth.
